edit: I find it amusing that everyone seems to rate tim paine as batting really well this series, and talks down smith, based on his first class record, ignoring smith doing better this test also. I mean, Smith averages 56 in fc matches, with 4 hundreds, and paine averages 31 with 1 hundred. Paine with ~10 more matches, I don't get how this means he has a better record. /rant.

I haven't seen much of this series, but when Australia came to India for a 7 match series, Paine really impressed.

Yea, I can see what you mean, but I think opening up in an ODI in India (where IMO the first 10 overs are and absolute road, then things get hard) is a long way from the test matches on greentops we've got here. All just my opinion though haha, which is always fun:happy:

Am i the only one who is frustrated with Farhat's timing?..I understand he has given pakistan a good start and had play 40 and odds here and there.. but I still think he shouldn't be in the team..

Anyway, damage was nigh on irreparable once we scored 88

Bowling has been ****e but it doesnt help when there's nothing to defend and you hand the opposition the advantage on a plate
