Well when you're comparing West Indies to New Zealand, I actually do tend to think a drawn series in New Zealand is something worth mentioning in favour of the West Indies. New Zealand should really be beating the West Indies at home if they're better than them.

Fair enough to question if Pak should be here - but maybe say "They are clearly not deserving of a place in this poll" rather than "If Pak are here, WI SHOULD BE HERE!!!"

To be honest i'd be more inclined to compare WI and Pak, but you've got a good point though, we got a decent draw in NZ and the next time they'll be coming to the Caribbean, we'll see if the "15 year record" still stands after that! :cool: .

Not in the discussion about which test team is the best of these 4 at the moment. That's my point. WI not beating NZ in a test for the last 15 years has, IMO, about as much impact WI beating England 1-0 18 months ago on that discussion.

Daniel Vettori makes NZ look so much more competitive.

NZ field and catch better than West Indies and are captained better too.

Now that McCullum has given away the gloves though, it really makes NZ look less solid, unless of course his batting improves.

If you had both teams at full fitness going into a series, I doubt the team playing away could win.

Windies are the team more likely to dominate a match between the two sides, but if it's a tight match, I would be putting money on NZ.

I can't help but get a splinter on my butt when it comes to these two teams.

To make a proper argument i had to put the facts on the table, while Pak haven't beaten a top team in four years we beat England last year, fact, why do you have a problem with the truth?!! :unsure: .

Because the truth has no relation to the argument who was the best team in the world. Not once did a NZ fan go into that thread and say "if Pakistan are here - surely NZ should be! We drew a series with them last year". They were realistic enough to say "Well, NZ shouldn't be in this poll at all as they are quite clearly not the best team in the world" and instead put a comment in about the thread at hand.

You, on the other hand, have to get your axe out and give it a big ol' grind.
