Loved watching the Indian tail hang tough there, finally a bit of backbone.

Congrats Sri Lanka, deserved to win that and the groundsmen and curator did a fine job of producing a result-oriented wicket.

India lost, but no need to panic, we have been in good Test form, much to the denial of India fans and haters alike. Harbhajan was unfit and hopefully he'll be fit for the next game, that will make a big difference. The pace bowlers performed poorly, but promising to see Ishant back around 135-140kph - something that is crucial to his success. Mithun has debuted solidly and could have ended up with more wickets early on, if the ball had been an inch here or there. The batsman underperformed, but we have quality batsmen, and without Murali, they should have more of a chance to justify that.

QUIETLY OPTIMISTIC here.

Without Murali, the SL bowling attack cant take 20 wickets unless Mendis strikes form

SSC test may be beacuse it's a flat pitch. But PSS has pace, bounce and seam, and known to be a sporting wicket for last hundred years. If Malinga pulls out a similar performance, and another SL seamer gets stuck in to the conditions, SL could even win it. But 1-1 is the most likely result for me, where IND taking the SSC test and PSS one ending in a rainfest.
