So erm doesn't that actually prove my point that they HAVEN'T got better results than us lately? Results, ie test wins? If so both teams have only picked up one win in their last ten test matches.
They were lucky in the first place because of one full day's worth play getting lost because of disruptions.Correction, was referring to the test where SA just failed to hang-on in the 2nd to last over. Could so easily have won that series in India
Yeah but Pakistan's test win wasn't well over a year ago like the Windies win was, so some might argue that they have.So erm doesn't that actually prove my point that they HAVEN'T got better results than us lately?
And the difference is we only beat England last year, i don't know how far back their last win was.
/OT You applied for moderatorship right?I agree with zinzan. When a 3 year old believes in santa claus, the whole group present in the living room doesn't jump in and say no. Similar thing happening in the thread. So let me be the asshole to break the news to you: THERE IS NO SANTA CLAUS.

Excuse me i'm talking about winning a TEST SERIES, not just winning a "test", it's ironic that they haven't won a test series since they beat us in 2006/7 so i think you've got your stats mixed up i'm afraid!! .Yeah but Pakistan's test win wasn't well over a year ago like the Windies win was, so some might argue that they have.
Heef's still on vacation, right guys?
And what have they done since then, have they even managed to pick up a single test win since? If you honestly think that series win means anything now you're delusional. I mean come on, they went to England right after that series and actually played on some sporting decks and were put away rather easily, does that actually mean anything or should it be swept under the rug?Excuse me i'm talking about winning a TEST SERIES, not just winning a "test", it's ironic that they haven't won a test series since they beat us in 2006/7 so i think you've got your stats mixed up i'm afraid!! .
This, so so much.I agree with zinzan. When a 3 year old believes in santa claus, the whole group present in the living room doesn't jump in and say no. Similar thing happening in the thread. So let me be the asshole to break the news to you: THERE IS NO SANTA CLAUS.
It's seems like you're still failing to comprehend simple stats , PAKISTAN HAVEN'T WON A TEST SERIES IN FOUR YEARS, say what you like about WI but the fact is we only beat England last year and since then our first team has only faced Aus away and Sa at home, WITH HALF OUR BEST PLAYERS MISSING, furthermore the only reason we've failed to win lately is because our players went on strike against Bang, we don't rely on Test wins against them like certain other teams who play in black .And what have they done since then, have they even managed to pick up a single test win since? If you honestly think that series win means anything now you're delusional. I mean come on, they went to England right after that series and actually played on some sporting decks and were put away rather easily, does that actually mean anything or should it be swept under the rug?
During the last year of test cricket the West Indies are the only team that has failed to pick up a result during any of there matches, again that's got to mean something right? Pakistan even with their limited test opportunities have been able to go overseas and pick up a win, again surely matches from six months ago are more relevant then a series which was played almost 18 months ago?
