There is meant to be strong word that Kyle McCallan is to come out of retirement for the World Cup, he only retired because of the illness his father had, and with his father better or getting there, he is meant to be interested...Yeah, I'm not best placed to comment on Zimbabwe's batting ability against spin but considering the number of spinners they often have in the side and the lack of any real genuine pace bowlers in the country I'd have thought they must be quite adept at playing spin. Even if not to the same level of Bangladesh, I'd have thought at the very least that they'd be competent.
Wasn't prepared to comment on Ireland. Especially now McCallan's retired

Was at the match today. Frustrating wait for the outfield to dry but then a good match in the end. Bangladesh threatened to run away with it in the beginning, RR of nearly 10 an over during the initial powerplay. The Dutch hauled it back though with sharp fielding taking some good outfield catches. Then a great innings from Swarczinsky first up followed by an equally good one from Baresi. Both looking really assured against anything Bangladesh could throw at them , taking good singles and occasionally going for the big hits. Two consecutive straight sixes over the bowler's head effectively sealing the match.
Word on the ground was that the Bangladesh team had to catch a flight to London at 9PM, so they may have been distracted a bit. Still a great result for the Dutch and the best thing for me was how pofessional and unfazed they looked chasing down that total.

Simply an observation rather than a criticism - I suspect that rather more than three have a sufficiently strong connection with the country to be considered Dutch but I dont know
