*Official* Bangladesh in England

FFS. That's a shocker from Kieswetter. If he can't make runs against these boys then he's not good enough. Might need to get on the phone to Steve Davies for the Pakistan ODi series.

Colly hit that IMHO. Nowt on Hot Spot, but see what snicko sez; ha yep, faint but distinct edge.

Rubel robbed.
Yeah, Illingworth did his job there - important to maintain the Natural Order of Things. Bit disappointed in Colly tbh, I know there aren't many walkers these days but he is one you think of as a cricketer with a bit of integrity. Still, England beating the 9th best team for the 21st time on the bounce is more important I suppose.

I suppose we should let Collingwood walk back in now after that decision!

With a broken foot, I'd say it's unlikely. Don't think we'll see him until number 11, where he'll hobble out if it's close.

Not particularly confident here. Trott's not the best player of spin in the world.

Interesting, I would never have given that in a million years but hawkeye seems to think it would hit.

Well yes, that's always the argument against walking isn't it - you get good and bad decisions, and they even out over time. But it's the sort of thing that when it happens - and I'm also thinking of the Elliott run-out a couple of years ago, which Collingwood was also involved in, of course - it instinctively makes me start to root for the other side. I suppose justice was done in the end, I only hope that Colly didn't overdo the histrionics and bat-throwing when he got back to the changing room. :)

93 for 4 (5) - England could yet be grateful for their relatively strong lower middle order.

Yeah, that was bad. Easily one of the worst shots I've seen from a batsmen in the last year or so.

Yepp..thats why he should stop trying to think his role is that of a batsman and bat at 5..He is a bowling all rounder..he should bat at 7. Mahmudullah should be batting at 5.

One bowler or the other always lets Bangladesh down..Today it is Shafiul..If only all 5 bowlers bowled decently today...

One more wicket and they have a huge chance here..

Yeah England are still favourites though - Trott is a cool customer and he won't be concerned at this state of affairs - he knows that if he stays the runs will come. If we were chasing 260 I'd be worried.

Don't get me wrong. I agree with the essential principle behind walking, and that it shows you to be a good and fair player if you do walk. But equally, I can't think of (m)any other sports where the players make decisions for the umpire. Anyways he's out now, so there is some sense of justice. :)

Back to the match, you've got to think that these two at the crease have to knock off at least 1/2 of the required runs left for England to win the match. For once, I'm not sure I entirely trust the famed England lower-middle-order. With Bell injured and unlikely to come out apart from in a Colin Cowdrey-type situation, Wright prone to brain explosions at any time, Shahzad capable-but-unproven and Broad and Anderson unlikely to fetch you many, maybe one of the England team's few proud records is about to go? :-O

Trott is the key..Bangladesh need to get rid of him..

Bring in Mahmudullah for an over I say.. Dont finish of Razzak yet..you need him incase a partnership builds up.
