How should India and BCCI help to GLOBALIZE CRICKET ?

Do you agree with this :

I think India/BCCI has a massive role in helping to globalise cricket, and the first suggestion I would make is to make genuine attempts to foster better relations with it's neighbours and encourage the growth of the game there.

It's a shameful state of affairs that Pakistan is playing it's home series in England while the Indian authorities have used the crisis in Pakistan to strike low blows to the innocent Pakistan cricketers. All credit to the English for despite strained relationships with Pakistani cricket and a genuine dislike for Pakistanis in this country, they have looked after the games interests first.

When India is mature enough to do the same it will be in a position to help globalise the game. In the meantime if it can put it's own house in order it will be a major step forward.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????

This point which is against me :

Well BCCI will argue that its not a charity. Also, it could argue that whilst Eng & Aus ruled the roost, they cared little for the minnows.

When Windies ruled the world, they refused to play the minnows.

My point is that they're in it to make as much $$$ for themselves as possible in as short a time frame as possible.

My personal view is that this stragtegy is actually killing the game & superficial events like the Bollywood Tamasha League (aka IPL) are merely papering over the cracks.

Do you agree??

Well I think it's facetious to suggest that the fad of installing the aforementioned water features, whether they be fountain or otherwise, is solely riding on the crest of the African economic wave that we are experiencing since the exporting of corn, or 'maise' as the native American Indians call it.

Having said that, ignore the empirical evidence at your own, and possibly your mothers, peril.
