Guess noone is going to mention how it was a good move from Clarke to open with Hussey.
Think the claiming of grassed catches unlikely to endear him to many non-Aussies either. Plus he's playing in what seems to be a very likeable Aussie team so his minor villainy is amplified by comparison too.No doubt, but not because he's Australian. Streetwise as usual trying to start **** on this board.
Clarke is no doubt one of the more hated players on CW atm. I'll fully admit I'm not a fan.
It's not because of comments like that though, but purely due to his batting. Whether it's fair criticism or not, at least for once a player is being hated (or loved) for the way he is batting. So it's not really an unfair thing I'd say.
The only case I can see of a tide turning against a player so quickly solely because of his performance.
