He showed it while he was Chief executive and is now making it clear. He is on of the worst adminstrators i have seen myself.

Though at the same time i doubt ,Pawar has himself much abilities as a adminstrator. He is a bad minister too.

He would have only seen opposition from Zimbabwe if he had not involved himself in the Murali incident, but I would rather have someone outspoken like him leading the ICC than someone who is going to be a dire clone of past ICC presidents tbh.

Seems to me with Modi ousted, the Indian board under Manohar is not towing Pawar's line anymore. They seem to be working on their own now.

Do you mean Speed does not like the way some boards in the sobcontinent operate and just cut it down to the "subcontinent " for impact or do you mean he is racist.

I don't want to start this all over again ,but i will say as i have in the past that he was biased against the sub continent players and officials .

Do not know what the reasons of this were,but when he and the other malcolm from australia, Gray were ruling the ICC it was pretty bad.

Speed was an idiot and one of the worst administrators ever.. I don't really see why his comments on Pawar mean much.. Chances are Pawar is just as bad but worse than Speed? I don't think so...


And yes, this was a disaster waiting to happen.. I don't think we should reject candidates this way. If these boards had a problem with Howard, they should have spoken up MUCH earlier... This is an insult to the CA and NZC and that is what makes this bad... At the same time, I am happy Howard is not going to be involved even though the position was a dummy one anyways.

Don't recall anything specific that would paint Speed as biased or incompetant, tbh. A lot of stuff that happened in his time as CE, well, he has no real control over. The position is nothing more than that of a figurehead.
