Yeah, County Championship well known for its quality:unsure:

Anyway, Bres is a much better batsman then Luke Wright. I know I'll get him out now with that comment, but meh we've lost anyway.

Except that on recent form, and much to my surprise, Mike Yardy is plainly worth his place in the team as a bowler-who-bats. He's strangled team after team in limited overs cricket over the last year or two, he's got a good head for a crisis and can bat as well, although without being a particularly fast-scoring smiter of boundaries.

Luke Wright may be worth his place in the T20 team but shouldn't be in the ODI team. TBH he struggles to justify a place in the county team.

I'm not inside his head so I cant understand why he has given it away but it is a real shame nonetheless

IMO it's a real loss to the viewing public that they dont get to see arguably the fastest bowler ever at the highest level

On his day, he is potentially the most devastating bowler in the world and IMO it's a real loss to the viewing public that they dont get to see arguably the fastest bowler ever at the highest level

Edit: Bresnan gone with a shot which reminds me of myself about 15 years ago

50 for Yardy. Been a very good innings from Yardy, just had no support from the rest of the lower order. Would have been a vital knock if Morgan was still there. Need Swanneh to go mental here and make a half century in quick time.

Akhtar has bowled the quickest recorded delivery

However, he was not as consistently quick as Lee

Lee, in turn, was not as quick as Tait

Other than that, it's all subjective really because there are no records
