*Official* Australia in England

Same guy that bowled 160 in Oz this summer and averaged over 150 at the WC
The fact is that he has bowled a lot of crap, since then. An on song Tait should be ripping teams apart, more often than not for Glamorgan but he has been very expensive in a few games. I recall his 160kph spell, the Pakistan batsmen couldn't even touch the ball - it was just too quick - on song, that is the effect he'll have on all batsmen.

You do raise a valid point about playing for the county and playing in the IPL and I'm sure England is more conducive to bowling quick than India too - it is just that it is all about the speed with him. When it is slow by his standards, he tends to get carted and I don't want to see that happen, tbh.

Always makes me laugh when people underestimate Tait - was just about the best bowler in the last 2 wcs he's played in
I am not undersimating him I'm just judging from what I have seen of him recently.

He was getting smashed about by Ravi Bopara only last week.

 Unbelievable!
As an expert on Tait it surprises me that you dont know he:

a. took 23 wickets at the 2007 WC; and

b. had an economy rate of just over 5 at the T20 WC whilst being amongst the highest wicket takers

If you're going to troll, dont make it so easy to make you look like a douche

He is damn near unplayable when on form. I just do not believe he is currently in the form to perform in ODI cricket, atm. However, I'd happily be proved wrong here.

I doubt whether he can bowl 10 solid overs too

The only thing I'm happy about is that he is back in the setup and hopefully that will give hime sufficient motivation to train

An economy rate of 5.52 as well  Compare that with McGrath and Murali's performances and get back to me.

Er...no one has said he is in McGrath or Murali's league and his job was to be employed as a wicket taker.

Classic!

In order to make a point against a guy you routinely run down at every opportunity, you have to compare his economy rate with arguably the 2 greatest bowlers ever and simply ignore his wickets

Here's a more apt comparison - how many wickets did the entire Indian team take in that WC?

Yay! Social starts shifting goal posts as usual. you said he was the best in that world cup, I said he was not.

Obviously with a pathetic attempt at troll trying to bring in India/blah blah..

A bowler with such a large economy rate is unlikely to be a top bowler, full stop. In a world cup where such a bowler takes a **** load of wickets, he could be argued as being the best bowler on show. Does that make sense.

G McGrath 26 wickets @ 13 @ 4.41
Murali 23 wickets @ 15 @ 4.14
Tait 23 wickets @ 20 @ 5.52

Arguably best bowler?
