A win sees USA through regardless. Otherwise they just need to match England's result to qualify.
Whether they come first or second depends on goal difference/goals scored. If they win and Slovenia draw then USA will definitely win the group if they win by two clear goals, or if they score one more than Slovenia score in their draw. If America were to win and score the same number as Slovenia, who draw, then first and second would be settled by a drawing of lots.

If Slovenia lose then America must win. If they win and England win, America will come first provided that they win by the same number of goals as England.
