Deliberate handball to gain an advantage normally gets a yellow. handling it to stop a goal a red. You won't normally get off with being booked if you handle it but it should only be given as a free-kick if it's deliberate (with some common-sense exceptions I guess) so it's fair to say he was shafted a bit there.

Honestly it was just a terrible decision, because to get the yellow it would have had to be deemed deliberate, which even if it had hit his hand (which it was nowhere near), it wasn't.

Oh and agreed, against the run of play, shame.

If this were a real sport, we might be in trouble but IMO we should just dive and punch people in the nuts until either the entire team gets thrown out or we get away with enough to score three goals. Nothing to lose. If Slovenia wins, they will have 6 points, which we can't catch up to, and though when England loses to Algeria, we may still have a chance, we don't want it to come down to goals, etc.
