Remained biased towards more modern players where possible as the professional athletes of the modern day are likely much fitter than their semi-amateur counterparts of yesteryear. A bit disappointed in my team all the same as I seem to have neglected a right back. Ondrus would no doubt have done a decent job there.

The only weaknesses being-

1) There is no defended minded midfielder. And with the likes of Messi ,Ronaldo and Ronaldo being there someone has to do the defensive work for them. And do not think Ballack and Modric are the kind of players to do it. Both are best at a central attacking midfield postion.

2)Ondrus wasn't really a right back.

Damned if I know but I'm delighted. Did want a defensive minded midfielder really but once my top 3 went and Zizou was available I was going to pass him up.
Might have been better off going for Davids ahead of Seedorf of Ordiles ahead of Sorin, couldn't due it due to the Tottenham connections though

If any center defensive pairing is going to be able to deal with being left exposed on occassion it's Beckenbauer and Baresi. Gunz.

AWTA tbh. I had designs of putting Koeman in the midfield with Ondrus and Fabio taking the centre, but I neglected my right flank and was left with either no winger, or no right back on my final choice. Decided even if my team was a bit unbalanced, at least it would never lack entertainment value.
