Loved when Jenson was talking in the press conference Hamilton and Webber talking to each other with those hand gestures. Mark pretty much confirmed what he thought immediately afterwards without too much of a tactful 'I don't want to part blame here' statement.

Thing with Vettel is that he didn't need to move to the right but it's something that he did on Hamilton earlier in the race on exactly the same part of track in order to scare off the other guy. Webber held his ground and Vettel looked like a tool.

Good to see 3 Union Jacks on the podium.

Yeah, loved the interplay between Hamilton and Webber during the press conference. Without being able to hear it, you could see exactly what they were saying.

I've just watched it over and over on iPlayer and still come to the same conclusion i did before that Vettel was at fault. Webber holds his line and on the ****pit camera you see Vettel turning right. What surprised me on the replays was just how far they actually were from the corner itself.

Finger pointing over here seems to be firmly in the direction of Vettel with the sole exception of the Red-Bull team who imply that it was Webber's fault.

Haha yeah I noticed that, he may have had a point about having the inside line if they were closer to the corner...but what does he expect just veering right like that down a straight. I didn't see the race in it's entirety, but my brother said to me that the crash would never have happened if they had've just let Webber race. Said that RBR had told him to save on fuel, and nothing to Vettel and that's pretty much the only reason he caught him? At least they've made it clear who they want to win the C'ship anyway....

More money for them if Vettel wins rather than Webber. A German is more marketable than some guy from a far flung small country in the Pacific. I thought it was well known that Red Bull have always wanted Vettel to win, albeit unofficially. Well, the people I talk to think that.

RBR's colliding couldn't possibly have resulted in anything better than giving McLaren a lovely 1-2.

Very confident for Montreal now, Hamilton has always gone well there.

Sure, Vettel is about as interesting as dirt and has the charisma of a fish but he's still German and European.

I remember reading an article about Webber and said how hard he had to work to keep sponsors happy because he was from Australia and Australia was a small and unimportant market. Webber's always had to present better than other drivers.

If Webber was British, German, French, Italian or even Spanish Red Bull would be falling over themselves to make sure he won-over-bland-as-a-turnip Vettel.

Thats just the way Formula 1 works.

He's also had a reputation of being unlucky and not having filled his potential until this season which wouldn't help matters.

Not quite sure why you think Vettel is so dull, always been known as very friendly and good with the media.

Either that or Ferrari aren't prepared to wait any longer for him to make his mind up (only has until end of june/july to use his release clause)

Not sure why they'd sign massa for another 2 years, I could almost understand 1, 2's just stupid though.
