Sid's going well against Essex. 1-49 in the 1st innings and he's currently 0-24 off 5 in the 2nd. Ravi's going well though, after a pretty dismal return to FC cricket. 57* from 91 balls. Make it a big 'un Rav!

It seems all the 20/20 squad are struggling,i see Lumb has had a couple of failures too.Maybe we were being a bit harsh on the test players at Lords as everyone else has struggled to adapt whether it is mentally or to the different conditions i don't know but to have all of them failing must mean there is more to it.

There's been a lot of rain about today, but it seems to be clearing so you may see some cricket.

Trescothick and Kieswetter vs Yardy and Wright of course.

Looking forward to this game a lot. Should be some real good cricket on show. Somerset are one of the most entertaining T20 sides, with the likes of Kieswetter, Tresco, Hildreth, Trego and Thomas and then they're going up against Wright, Smith, Yardy, Kirtley, and co. Should be a real cracker.

Still gonna get some impressive fireworks judging by this start. Wright looks in fantastic form. He's finding the middle of the bat with regularity and this ground is tiny, so we're going to see quite a few boundaries I reckon. 2 of the boundaries are 52m, one 53m and the biggest is 55, this is a miniscule ground. Wright might get a big 'un here.

Karthik's a sweetheart, isn't he? Thoroughly ageeable and modest young man. :)

Sussex 20 runs short for mine. Disappointed Joe "Dad Used To Play For The Arsenal" Gatting didn't hang around for long.
