Nah you were a very good team that year. Finished one win off the minor premiers iirc.

Just seems to me that there's something wrong with this backline. Spot the odd one out.

2 Tighe
3 Jennings
4 Inglis
5 Simmons
How about Purtell?

But yeah I agree, as a Panthers fan I wouldn't want to lose Gordon to gain Inglis.

Injured :p Hypothetically of course. Simmons at first drop is dire enough.

Actually swap Tighe for Purtell and that would likely be our full strength 2-5 as Tighe would have to be mortgaged to free up GI cap room. Ryan Walker is showing promise for Windsor tbf.

Hmm, doesn't correlate with him playing at Melbourne, though.
Why not? Melbourne's a big vibrant city with plenty to do/see. Not to mention Melbourne have been the best team in the comp for a long time which is a glamour all of it's own. Penrith is a small almost regional town 1.5 hours away from the beach.

Good Westfield in Penriff though.
Agreed.

Also has a good Leagues Club and Pizza and Ribs joint. That surely should be enough to entice Inglis.

But seriously, he doesn't have to live on High St Penrith to play for the Panthers, he could move to Leura or somewhere.

BTW, how good are the Broncos!!

Yeah, Stuart Flanagan's the new coach.

Do you think anyone else will leave their clubs? Henjak & Sheens might have nervous moments over Stuart's place next year, and I wouldn't be over-confident about next year if I was Cleary....
Henjak's not going anywhere. He already has a better winning record than Stewart.

A usually reliable source of mine from the Tigers has told me that we have entered the race to sign Michael Gordon... Although i think he's a good player and a great kicker i dont know that we need him at the moment....

We love signing a player from Penrith though...
