and they did.In all the games we beat Pakistan in over the past 12-15 months, a lot of them we were in this position but they always found a way, quite creatively at times, to self-implode.
Once more for old times sake, eh?
oh FFS just because they have a decent 20-20 side it does not mean there is obsession for the format ofcourse coming in as defending champions hype would be created by local media we do not play billion dollar 20-20 league every year, your posts are not treading in to trollish category.I hope this loss will be a blessing in disguise for Pakistan. They would do well to stop this obsession with t20s and start mending their team in test cricket. If they manage half a decent team, with their vibrance and sheer talent (i'd kill for some one like Aamer to be on our side) will take them to the heights once again. It will hurt, it will take time, but it can be done. Pakistan instead of trying to pin the blame on individuals, should realise where their core problems lie.
A strong captain with come-what-may-we'll-support-you Board can definitely do it.
My visits to Pakpassion forums suggest otherwise.oh FFS just because they have a decent 20-20 side it does not mean there is obsession for the format ofcourse coming in as defending champions hype would be created by local media we do not play billion dollar 20-20 league every year, your posts are not treading in to trollish category.

So you expect people to discuss tests during T-20 championship where we are defending champions. My visits to Pakpassion forums suggest otherwise.
Anyways there is no doubt where their priorities should lie.
I've been to there for many times. I've seen how after every test or one day defeat, many of them say atleast we are t20 champions atleast. So you expect people to discuss tests during T-20 championship where we are defending champions.
Pakpassion has a lot of traffic which does includes a lot of fairweather casual fans who only support Pakistan when it is winning and unfortunatley in the last few years we have not won much in test cricket so you naturally see people who take 20-20 as their beloved format.I've been to there for many times. I've seen how after every test or one day defeat, many of them say atleast we are t20 champions atleast.
It is a perfectly valid statement, but when that's the go to argument in every loss in other formats, it suggests bit of a problem.
Anyway you don't need to cling on to this, I just posted something in my mind I thought was right. Fair enough if you think every Pakistani treats t20 with tests equally. :-)
The rank half tracker that he bowled Hussey when the equation was 17 off 5 must go down as one of the worst deliveries in a pressure situation there's ever been. That was just begging to be hit out of the ground.just saw the H/l must say as brilliant Huss was it was rank poor bowling from Ajmal guess he was due a bad game.
