Really? What did Pollock do to make himself moreso likable than Olonga?
He was a bloody good player of the game for a start. Certainly a much better player than Olonga. He had a great deal of style too. Plus, he never released an album. At least as far as I'm aware he didn't. ;)

Mind you, I can certainly understand the admiration for Olonga

Haha. 3 spinners. All very different.

Peter Such for me. His gutsy duck for England in (circa) 1993 was impressive - if only for the un-coordinated ducking and weaving he undertook to avoid the ball at all costs. His fear of the ball was only matched by his camp little leap every time he bowled the ball. A real character, and seriously underused by England. He was a pretty decent bowler, really.
