If there are any budding stasticians out there, I've started work on this spreadsheet to help with finding good bets in total points markets. If anyone has any good ideas to add to it I'd like to hear about it. Something I'm already keen to do is add in some consideration of home/away performances but I haven't decided on how I'll go about that just yet.

My name is Josh, and I'm an AFL addict. lol

Seriously, it's my second full year, and I absolutely love this game.

Have been to all three Lion's games this year, and am planning on going to many more.

Awesome spreadsheet.

What are the statistics/calculations behind the 'bad weather' option?
At the moment that's pretty spartan - it's -7.5% which is about what I think bad conditions are worth. Open to better ideas though.

Yeah I enjoy watching it too tbh. Have loved watching the Swans for a long time. Just don't like the whole "war" talk between AFL/NRL. Can't we all just get along? /hippy West Sydney doesn't need an AFL team either. Wouldn't quite call myself an addict though ;)

On another note, Jack  Also Weagles :yucky:

So Casson - at what stage can I stop considering myself premature in saying that the Demons are a much improved side that are going to give some much more highly fancied contenders a big fright? :p

About now.

But I'll remind you that I never took you apart for what you said about the Dees; I said that it was worth seeing a few similar performances to the one against Collingwood before handing out the plaudits - as we all know, in any sport, one performance does not a season make. But with full credit to Melbourne, a massive improvement is exactly what they've delivered.
