Social made a valid entry into the current discussion in whats going on behind the scenes in the IPL and I think you were out of line calling him prejudiced in that post.

Yes they should, but not to me, at this moment in time.
As a consumer, I simply like their product. I do, like most consumers, hardly ever wonder what kind of organisation is behind the product or service, in the first place. Yet, at some point, I have to wonder if things are ok. I guess that is the same with buying a piece of furniture. I simply buy what I think has the best price-quality ratio, but if the producer appears to use production methods that would be illegal here in NL, I might change my consumer behaviour.

That point, by far, has not been reached with the IPL. Whatever is wrong with the IPL organisation, has yet to be proven. And then it should be carefully weighed if it is really that bad. Could it be that the IPL, like any producer in the entertainment business, has its edges?

So far I am highly impressed by what Modi has done! Sure some mistakes are made, but I'm a bit surprised about the reactions here.

Anyway yes there are ginormous scumbags in pretty much every sport. In the Football World Cup England's squad will be pretty much chock full of them, I doubt they'll be alone. Humans suck as a whole so I think people have to be realistic about it.
