*Official* Indian Premier League 2010

Not Terrible
Even 246 sort of score would have been pretty much impossible last night. The margin was just too large, like needing a 300 run win in ODIs.

ya victory by 437 !!!

20 over game they need to win by 175 runs rite ?
Haha wow thats pretty amazing.

The largest margin of victory in a T20 is 172 runs in SL vs. Kenya.
Then 158, then 142, 140, 130 x2.

So Sri Lanka almost beat Kenya by that much once but no one else has ever got that close.

I was just getting used to having double headers on Tuesday nights.

Now I don't have an excuse to be awake at 5 in the morning. Boooo.

Using McCullum (and currently, the world's) best, 158*, that still took 73 balls. If they didn't lose a single wicket, and he were able to replicate something similar, someone like Gayle would still need to score 140-odd at a strike rate of close to 300.

It would have to be a perfect storm in terms of conditions, opening batsmen having on days at the same time, and absolute poo opposition.

Are we really discussing that KKR was wrongly deprived of the possibility to score 300 runs in an T20 innings?

No I was saying that they needed to score 300, and they had a much better chance to do it with Gayle and McCullum opening, not a good chance especially on that track.

Nice match this. Really wish Mumbai knock RCB out. If they get 170+ they should pull it off with their attack.

Some genuine movement from both bowlers. Wonder if this will be a lowish scoring game. Both batsmen have been fairly cautious so far.
