Am not watching the match. Is Sachin in the dugout? Because I heard he and the other rested guys haven't bothered to travel for this match.

Makes sense when you have to play the semi in 40 hours after this match, and travelling 5k km for a dead rubber is the last thing to do prior to that.
For a second there I thought that you'd said "5km", and I was like, "Wow, that's lazy!"

Haha thats ridiculous, yep something is wrong when losing the toss automatically knocks you out.
yeah.. sounds pretty silly but they are being penalized for their own non performance earlier in the tourney..
Not so sure about that. It sounds ridiclulous, but is it?

Losing the toss meant that the odds changed from bloody unlikely, yet mathematically possible to mathematically impossible.

KKR were in a hopeless position anyway!

Another issue: Imagine KKR batting first and winning by 111 runs. That would have opened some discussion about match fixing :) .

Why anyone would want Irfan bowling the last over is beyond me, but that's another point.
Because he bowled the last over in a previous game and took it to an improbable super over. The opposition only happened to be a certain CSK . :p

It was impossible tbh.
Only when they bowled first. They had to win by 175 runs if they batted first.

Lets be honest, if Gayle and McCullum were both and form and went for it, with a bit of luck, 300 could be on. They wouldnt have, as McCullum couldnt even see the ball yesterday, but they had a better chance with those two then with Ganguly.

No IPL tonight, what am I going to do now? :(
