*Official* Indian Premier League 2010

Jayzamann

International Regular
Is there a less succesful T20 bowler than Kallis? Amongst those who regularly bowl, I mean.

Averages 50.39 with 23 wickets in 46 innings of bowling (140 overs), ER of 8.25.
At least now he is much better than he was in IPL1. But the way that Bangalore persist with him is confusing. Especially that period of time when they'd still have him open the bowling.

Other than filling up the vaults at Modi and co's private mansions, what purpose does the IPL serve if performances here aren't taken into consideration for picking the Indian World T20 squad?? There is no way Yuvraj should be anywhere near the team based on his performances in this format outside the 2007 WC.

Ditto Brett Lee (and he was smashed in 2007).

TBH, he generally bowls a good first over but bowling at the death, he's arse.
