My mistake; I was under the impression Swann was caught drink driving in GB not Sri Lanka...More true stories. Over here you dont have to fail the test or drink at all to be caught for drunk driving. Most cops just need a quick buck. You want to give them weapons like manslaughter charges as well to add onto that, well, I'll disagree as politely as I can.
Had no idea Swann was a cat man.
0.35 is the limit? Ours is 0.05...at 0.35 you're a long way gone..
IIRC my mate's bro blew something like .23 when our limit is .35. The police apparently give all traffic cops this demo to show that the "I only had a couple of glasses of wine with lunch" type excuses are invariably bollox.
In the UK at least you have to be pretty far gone to fail a test so it's hard to have sympathy with those who do.
The 0.35 figure refers to the alcohol in the breath, which is a measure that's often used here.0.35 is the limit? Ours is 0.05...at 0.35 you're a long way gone.
Ahhh ok, I was a bit concerned at the idea of people driving the streets with a blood alcohol level of .34 and still being under the limit.The 0.35 figure refers to the alcohol in the breath, which is a measure that's often used here.
In terms of alcohol in the blood, it's 0.05g / 100 ml in Australia, and 0.08g / 100ml in the UK. There was an unsuccessful move to reduce it to 0.05g in the late 90s. Probably a good idea IMHO.
I would be surprised if they could even walk at 0.34... in fact the only place they'd be going is the hospital. Hopefully for them, fast:Ahhh ok, I was a bit concerned at the idea of people driving the streets with a blood alcohol level of .34 and still being under the limit.
Coma (BAC = 0.35 to 0.50%)
* Unconsciousness (coma)
* Depressed reflexes (i.e., pupils do not respond appropriately to changes in light)
* Marked and life-threatening respiratory depression
* Markedly decreased heart rate
* Most deaths from alcohol poisoning are caused by dosage levels in this range.
Begs the question how the cat got in there in the first place if there were no screwdrivers in the houseFeel bad for laughing, but it's hard not to at the thought of a drunken Swanneh driving to Asda so he can get a screwdriver to get his cat out from under the floorboards.

It used its pneumatic drilling equipment.Begs the question how the cat got in there in the first place if there were no screwdrivers in the house
