Woeful. Taylor easily a better fielder than Pietersen. Pietersen a better Test batsman and one day bat but not in T20.

If I want to look at who's better I look at the T20I record. Taylor's is garbage. KP's isn't. That's a bigger and fairer sample. The simple fact is any sane person would pick KP ahead of Taylor whatever the format because KP is better without question.
And hey this is the Bangalore team so what has KP done for them so far?
In 19 innings Taylor has 581 @ 38.73 SR 157.45
In 7 innings KP has 116 @ 19.33 SR 117.17
In 9 innings White has 135 @ 19.28 SR 117.39
Obviously we should just hold out for KP to come good in this format.

Taylor's IPL record is phenomenal, so why chuck him for a player who plays well for his country but not for Bangalore? Yes Pietersen is a better overall batsman than Taylor but in T20 the disparity between them disappears entirely and you take whoever will score more runs on the day. So far in this competition it appears to be Taylor.
Spent $75k on him.
Had a handy SR of 190.
Because these stats over such a small span of games don't mean a great deal. You could pick a small series of innings from any player and make them look a prince or pauper.
At first glance it looked a great effort but with the replay you could see that he had made it to the ball pretty easily just went past it a bit. Should have had both hands out.
