Haha, I know. That performance was just SO bad though. It was physically impossible for even the most optimistic of optimists to have predicted anything other than abject failure after that game.

Credit where it's due, they've really bounced back.

Mumbai has a strong Indian team, would be gun if one year they bought 4 genuine quicks and fielded them at some stage.
Malinga, Roach, Tait, Bond and Harby. Good times would be had.

$720000 for a bloke that's only played 5 T20 games (before today), taking 2 wickets at 61 with an economy of 8.13, and that economy is boosted by 2 performances against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. In 3 games against quality opposition his economy read 9.66, 15.00 and 16.50. Not sure he's such a good buy for Deccan, massively over-rated I feel. Still a better deal than KKR and Ishant Sharma though. I hope I'm proven wrong regarding Roach, as I like Deccan, but I personally can't see him having a big impact on this tournament.

Agreed, looks a handy young bowler. Certainly has some potential.

The 2nd ball of the over from Roach, although only reading 138kph looked rapid, got some crazy bounce.

Haha talking about KKR and senseful bidding. Didn't they spent 600k on Mashrafe who bled 26 runs in his only IPL game so far?
