Quite quick, very full and accurate. Did try to bounce a couple of the batsmen, but got wided. Only Irfan took to him and smacked a couple in the V, the rest were kept quiet.

Punjab need to catch on that Kumar and Mahela are both ordinary 20/20 cricketers. Could be a blessing in disguise that Sangakkara is banned from Punjab's next game. Get Hopeless, Marsh and Rusty in.

It would be nice to see Barath get a go at the top of the order where he has always batted and proved so effective during the Champions league. IMHO in him they have a ready-made opener and yet they seemed to have tried every other combo and met with no success.

Ah well as I said earlier in this thread, the management of Kings XI have always been clueless.

I am still of the thought that having an international keeper that doesn't open the batting is a wasted slot. Both Kumar and Boucher are really out of place. That's probably one of the only things I think KKR have done right (albeit probably out of necessity), and Mumbai and Rajasthan (maybe even Delhi) have proven that a competent/up and coming domestic keeper is more than adequate.

Heck, even giving the gloves to Uthappa when Boucher wasn't around wasn't anything short of could-hardly-tell-the-difference.

Also lol@ Hitler being a test man.

I fear that she has just been given the weekend off.

Anyone else think that Lumb against the Chennai bowlers was a good contest, before eventually being dismissed with a fine slower ball from one opening bowler before being caught by another. Just a shame that neither of the three were Indian.
