Well this has been NZ's problem thus far, we get a decent partnership happening and then keep losing a wicket or two to keep the Aussies in the hunt.
To be honest there are a lot of parallels with yesterday.

Except Katich didn't get dropped.

So tell me again why Guptill's in this team? He averages under 30 in New Zealand domestic cricket, averaged about 20 odd opening for New Zealand and all of a sudden he's our number five

Scored a century v Bangladesh

Now that we have Williamson, and Ryder is also due back eventually, and I suppose Broom is worth a shout in the Test team only, Guptill can't get too comfortable. And I suppose there is Flynn if he pulls his finger out.

Could of gone for about 10 other batsmen with far better career records in FC cricket tbh.
But Guptill lookz good. It's not how many FC runs you score, its what you look like when you're out there.

When does Myburgh qualify anyone? Can see him joining the fun shortly. Doesn't seem to be in the best form this year though. Some stats guy to prove me wrong. :p

November iirc. He's had a decent season this year though, averaged just a shade under 50.

Is it just me or is Taylor the only batsman who has the pace of this pitch?

And now Hauritz is bowling pies :(

It seems like it, didn't think Vettori looked that comfortable against pace during his time at the crease. Hope McCullum goes quickly.
Yeah. Will add that Katich and Clarke really did look set yesterday and then they decided to hit the ball straight to fielders

EDIT: Oh for ****'s sake!

100 up

I feel a bit apologetic for his century given the chances he has given. But it is up to the aussies to catch them.
