Battle of Cricketers - CW's Favorite Cricketer

Somerset

Cricketer Of The Year
He may have destroyed New Zealand sides over the years but Waqar Younis most definitely gets my vote.

Dasa

International Vice-Captain
Torn between Waqar and Inzamam, but ultimately I'd rather watch Waqar in full flow.

It all depends where you're standing.
I understand that, but there's a difference between disliking him as a cricketer on the field (ruthlessness, sleding etc whatever) and hating him as a person, especially considering all the charity work he has done/does(?)

Agreed .

On the field i never liked Waugh.Just seemed too arrogant ,Sledged, coined mental disentigration and wasn't a great batsmen to watch, even in full flow etc...

But off the field he has done some remarkable work and has been absolitely humble.

Magrat Garlick

Rather Mad Witch
Calling this early as Waqar has an impenetrable lead. No wildcards.

Do think he's a bit of a ****, but honestly - the mo, the sweatband, the silky smooth action, the leaping 180 appeal. Hadlee is a part of NZ sporting folklore. To quote Pulp Sport, "Wouldn't it be nice if the world was Hadlee?"

That last part would make sense if I could get on Youtube to find a clip, but it seems to be randomly down.
