*Official* England in Bangladesh

Big psychological boost for England to go past Bangladesh's score, think the hosts may struggle mentally to come back from here.
A lot depends on how they start with the bat, obviously Kayes will get out for about 14 but if Tamim can start like he did in the first innings then confidence will soon return, given how flat the pitch is they should still manage a draw which is a good result.

Yes a decent start should go someway to settling the inevitable nerves, but they have been here so many times before. Memories of being in the game before a conclusive defeat happens must be a frequent reminder of their frailties, and a difficult mental hurdle to get over. Yes they have Tamim at the top of the order who can reinvigorate this side for a period with his free-flowing strokeplay, but a couple of early wickets may see Bangladesh back in the shed for less than 200, even on this pitch.

Often it is the pressure of the situation in these circumstances, and with teams low on confidence such as Bangladesh especially, rather than the pitch playing any tricks, but England will still have to bowl well.

Should be a dead cert draw given how flat the wicket is but as said you never know how Bangladesh will react to yesterday. Even with the terrible umpiring Bangladesh were not helped by awful captaincy and shocking bowling from the likes of Razzak, who seemed to be content on bowling a one day dart line.

Test series has been horrible to watch. Bangladesh need to stop being such nice hosts. Every Tim, Jason and Amit are taking the piss out of them.

This is painfully dull, no ambiton from England this morning. Just hurry up and get out so we can watch Tamim.

Thank God for that. Shame for Bresnan and all but he got lucky early on and it was just so dull this morning.

Razzak is such a pathetic bowler. If it was India/Australia who were batting, he'd have gone for about 5.5 an over instead of 4.

Thank god for Tamim; the game's actually worth watching with him there. Had two lives already tho, but. Stiff chance to Prior but Treadwell probably should've taken a return catch. Sharp, but straight at him and he got both hands to it.

7th over for Treaders and no Swann yet, if the latter's not carrying a niggle its another bit of bizarre captaincy in a series of it.

Dire batting from Tamim so far, doesn't look he's too arsed about making sure we get a result from the game.

That drop from Trott should appear on future youtube highlights reels.

If England had played Carberry instead of Finn, they would've stood a better chance of making significantly more than Bangladesh in their first innings. However, England's obsession with playing five bowlers means they can't win this match.

Actually, they're lucky the umpires are such rubbish, because England should've been losing this match!

Indeed. A dolly.

Disagree about Tamim slightly, if Bangladesh have any pretensions to winning the test and squaring the series runs are needed pretty quickly. If a draw was the limit of the ambitions then perhaps he should reign it in slightly, but that would be a terrible admission.

There's a little turn for Tredwell here, but it's sloooow.

Tamim successfully chucks his wicket away at the 4th time of asking, tries to drive one that turned out of the rough and spoons it to a squareish gully. Sharp take from Broad. Swann the bowler.

Some world class wink-wink-nudge-nudge there from Athers as he comments on how much more the ball used to reverse in the Akram-Waqar days for 'one reason or another'.
