But it's region specific and carries a fair amount of historical significance. Pretty much only refers to Northerners or New Englanders.

Nah that's different. That was "supposed" to be the one started by Mohanlal (a famous actor) and Priyadarshan (a famous director). They are different from the Rendezvous Group which actually bought the team.
