Agree with Cevno - never quite justified the hype that accompanied him to the '99 World Cup but despite turning out to be a complete **** was always worth watching so Shoaib Akhtar gets my vote

My vote goes to Shoaib Akhtar. He had charisma, flair and on song was wonderful to watch. He provided plenty of entertainment and during his peak was one of the best fast bowlers going around. It's too bad he didn't have a longer career but I guess when you bowl that fast it takes a pretty bad toll on the body.

I was very close to voting for Andrew Hall too as I've always thought he was a pretty good performer for somebody who wasn't as naturally talented as some of the other South African players were.

Virat Kohli (c)
Haha so awesome. I nominated Hall cos I always liked him, and suddenly everyone is voting him. So awesome.

That being said Shoaib is probably one of my favourite cricketers of all time. So I won't even be voting Hall here

Shoaib. He's a tool but he brought colour to the game. Had the appeal to make the game so much better, unfortunately got caught up in it.

Mushtaq for me, Akhtar was great when on song, but was always found wanting when things got tough
