Dropped twice and batting like a fool. Still it is runs on the board though
I suppose there are two options for Tamim: bat like Tim McIntosh and push and prod to score 18 off 78 balls and achieve nothing, or go out and take the bowlers on.

So what's the word on England's batting order? Are Trott et al moving up a place, or will one of the lower middle order guys open in this game?

Bang have a decent chance here, don't they? They're still quite capable of getting 400 on this pitch against this attack, which puts a bit of pressure on a side that's batting last and who are a batsman short. Strikes me as a good time to put a tenner on a home win.

Trott is opening, I believe.

Seems a fairly even days play so far. Tamim got Bangladesh off to a flier, but England dragged it back in the middle. The pitch is very flat, but will obviously turn more as the game goes on.

Makes sense as far as the balance of the side goes though. Think this was the batting line-up I advocated at the start of the series, just that Finn has been picked in place of Wright. Nice to see KP step up and agree to bat 3.

Just looking at the score for the first time now, pretty pleased to see Bangladesh on a very respectable score and nice to read from Athlai that there is some spin.

C'mon Bangladesh!! Dire Rahim goes..

Another jaffer from Bresnan. Certainly seems to have a knack of producing these fantastic deliveries, even after bowling pretty terribly for most of the day.
