Tbf that Sachin onslaught was in their last game. It's ridiculous to draw any conclusions at all from two T20 matches.
AWTA, it's getting a bit like baseball. You can't draw conclusions without a large sample size because games turn so quickly. Just because someone makes two consecutives ducks opening the batting or whatever doesn't make him the worst option there, it could happen to anyone.

I'm sure it would be fantastic to be at the ground (if you could manage to ignore being shown ads on the big screen, that is). But the ads are very much part of the product they sell to the world. And let's face it, if they're not, there isn't exactly much product left.
Putting aside ads during the middle of the overs (Which I have acknowledged is poor), the ads you are complaing about (insurance one etc.) are Indian ads. Not IPL ads. If you watch other Indian TV channels you will get the same. If you watch test match cricket you will get the same.

So It's not an IPL issue. That's all my point is.

The biggest concern is the form of Amit Mishra- a leggie who's often scythed through batting sides in T20 is now going the distance more often
That, and he has been a pretty woeful fieldsman in recent matches. I mean, even the best put down tough chances, but he misfields constantly as well

Have so much love for Haydos.

Have no doubt that he'd be gunning it in NZ right now if that's what he wanted.

Raghav: "If Dhoni had been captain for CSK today then all captains in today's matches would have been wicketkeepers." Interesting observation!
Partiv Patel just needs to learn to assert himself, get over his small chin complex.

The problem for Delhi over the past two editions and this edition too has been that their Batting is basically reliant on Sehwag and Gambhir upto 75% of the time.
When they both do not score big or atleast one, they seem to be in trouble.
The rest are way too inconsistent.Ab and karthik blow hot and cold ,while Dilshan is been in bad form.
Maybe they should promote Manhas up the order.
Their batting order from the frist season onwards has been top heavy and this is continuing till now.Once you get past the top2/3 ,the opposition seems to always claw back. And it does not help that they traded off Dhawan and Tiwary ,two of their best Indian batsmen after not properly utilising them for 2 seasons.

Abe and TilDil have been in wretched form. If they get their acts together Delhi will be hard to beat. Also they are missing Vettori big time.

That is how to get off the mark. Ravi Bopara, what a player. Century coming today to get that orange cap back off Kallis. <3 Rav.

Nah don't worry about Delhi. They'll be all right.

May get on them to win now that they've lost the last 2 matches. Odds will be tasty.

 at Rohit Sharma saying "****" when he had the mic on after Ravi hit that 4.

Gavaskar having to apologise for it was awesome.

God mics on the players in the field is ****house. They clearly can't be arsed. Ravi Bopara was not interested in speaking at all.

AB was a good sport on the mic the other day, and I've heard Haddin and Gilchrist doing it fantastically in Australia. Haddin on the mic keeping to Tait bowling 155-160k's was awesome.

Why is Yuvraj such a flop in IPL cricket? He should have a much better record than he has, actually provided more with the ball than the bat for KXIP.

Another lovely shot from Bopara. He really does look in actual good form now, where's it come from?

Na no real shame in being a young debutant coming out in a lost cause. If he succeeds he will be praised if he fails, ah well, so did the senior players.
Barath has been an opener his entire career. He dominated the champions league T20 at the top of the innings for T & T. What the hell was the logic in batting him at number 6 when the required run rate was at 12?

Ah well, Kings XI have never struck me as a particularly efficient outfit anyway, they always have made some strange decisions.

Another KXIP batsman throws his wicket away. Ravi's basically done his job in all 3 games so far (batting through and allowing the other batsmen to play around him), but he's had very little support, the rest of the KXIP side need to step up.

Agree that having Barath batting down the order was strange too. Should be opening with Ravi.
