I must say that Gony's spell impressed me, despite the figures, for which he was pretty unlucky (3 fours, off the top of my head, were from outside edge, top edge and inside edge respectively) and Balaji is looking pretty good these days, proping up at 130kph and hitting the bat hard. I just hope that Ashwin gets some wickets, had a grim fantasy cricket day today, with Matthews and Hayden (c) failing, but Dhoni and Pandey getting a few points.

I think we can allow it, chasing a largish total on a pretty lively pitch. Gony, Morkel and Balaji all bowled pretty well too.

They batted very irresponsibly Manee. It was 160 they were chasing not 200-220. All the batsmen were out to slogs which weren't needed. Half the runs they got were also off edges and the like. Gony, Murali, whoever, they weren't so good to pile them up for around 100. A dire and laughable performance.

Yeah very ordinary performance from KKR, I hope they can regroup after this and play well, unlike in 2008 when they never recovered.

Good win, but am disappointed with the way Raina went about his innings. He should realize he is much better than a simple slogger. Going for the heave over midwicket right from the first ball and continuing to do it even though he kept missing was daft. How about playing straight for an ove or so and then going for it.

Well KKR essentially had no death bowling today, which along with wasting Bond etc. at the death and doing a terrible job instead of bowling them out earlier cost them today. Also a specialist number 8 is somewhat pointless, especially when they make 2 off 8.
