Heh Bala, way to go ffs. Really like the look of our batting though, so not fussed by chasing 180-190.

Watching Balaji bowl is a sad experience. His slower delivery is the worst I have seen. Even if you are beaten by it, you can recover and hit it on your second attempt. Dhoni should drop him and bring in Jakati.

If Symonds dominates the last 4 overs, I'll be happy to have egg on my face, but I still think it hasn't been a good knock.

Chennai have Hayden, Dhoni, Raina and Morkel. They can chase 180. Considering the start, Hyderbad should get/have gotten 190 minimum.
Even so, it's well worth the sacrifice now if it helps Symonds find his feet and he guns it for the rest of the series. I'd be quite pleased if I was a Hyderabad fan.

Why is Symonds still using the normal Mongoose? Surely now would be the perfect time to bring out the MMi3? Are we actually going to see it used in this tournament, or is it going to be the Atul Sharma of the 2010 tournament? Much hyped, but never actually seen in action.

I have seen a security dog in the field in South Africa and other places too. So a dog on the field isn't a rare occurence.
Twice in two years in the IPL.

You're right though, it once happened in an Australia vs. Ireland 'international rules' match.

I just don't understand how it's physically possible.
These dogs live "inside" the premises of the stadium. I know it sounds strange but apparently the groundsmen love their dogs and are 100% confident of them being non aggressive towards humans.

It is the height of unprofessionalism I agree. Something which should never be tolerated in such a high profile encounter.
