Finally got a game? NZ well on top.

Can't see Aust winning this at all. All over, which hurts the bank balance a little.
If these two can bat for another 5-6 overs without allowing the RRR to get over 8s, Aust will be well on top imo. Especially with Hussey around

Nah relax Zinzan, Aust can't win from here. Pitch is slowing up, still have overs in hand with Bond, and Hopes isn't timing them.

This chase is a prime example of why we need a real specialist batsman at number 7 and not a bits and pieces 'allrounder' in Hopes. Someone who can play the crucial knock and win the game.

50/50 game for mine, with Hussey clearly holding the key. Either way, I'm 100% relaxed, was never really up for this game since it's a dead-rubber

I know Aust had 2 bad decisions against them, but their bowling in the last 10 overs to let NZ get to 240 was really poor and will cost them here. Should have been chasing sub-200.

Extras weren't helping. We gave away about 30 of them.
Australia need to learn to play spin on slow wickets, or they won't win the World Cup.
Yeah, because at the moment beyond Ponting, Clarke and Hussey we still have a problem with spin.

And Hopes is not timing them at all.

Forget they won a ODI series in India just recently and concentrate on a dead rubber where the umpires jukked them. Yeah loosing 2 or 3 of the last 30 odd games is a real problem for aus.

Would rather a big hitter like Warner @ 7

Pity we couldn't win 4-1 but very happy with the series win esp after the 2007 drubbing.

Tend to agree tbh, still the best bet for the next WC imo, especially if they can get their best side on the park

That's true. Good point.

I still think Australia have shown weakness against South Africa and Pakistan (prior to the home series) against spin in the middle overs.

Not Terrible
Havent watched much of the series, but that's usually because Aus just pay him respect and see him off isn't it?
Has also put a few Aussie new guys under pressure in some of the tighter parts of the series. Huss played him well throughout though.
