I see some love for KKR here. Well Done guys, nice to know I am not alone here. Don't forget to thank Ganguly for excellent captaincy today. :)

My housemate and I have decided to pick a team to support as the IPL is on ITV. So say hello to Kings XI Punjab's newest fan. Come on you kings!!!
Good shout, they were my side for last year. Think I'm going for Rajasthan this year, so many gun cricketers. Warne, Tait, Watson (I think he's there this year), Smith, Morkel, Botha, Pathan, Kamran Khan and a couple of Hampshire lads Mascarenhas and Lumb. Reckon they'll have a good season.

This is so awesome from KKR.

Sad to see Rohit fail in such a **** way though.
This kind of sucks to Rohit Sharma play that way. He has been hailed as the next big hope of Indian batting by many and does look great but his shot selection is just awful.

He's still young so I have faith. I think he was just in two minds regarding that shot. He was awesome in last year's IPL.

Congrats on last night Sanz, Mathews was so awesome and Sourav captained very well.

Mathews bowling. hmmm... I am not going to forgive IPL if he picks up another injury by bowling. KKR is getting greedy by asking hi to bowl too.

Yeah never understood this. Take it out on the players if you want (which is unfair, they're earning money like we all want to) but don't blame the league which is simply saying: "if you would like to play, please do and we will pay you well. Otherwise no worries."

If they get injured, blame the player. If Sachin gets injured and misses a year of test cricket and the world cup (touch wood this doesn't happen) I won't go ranting at Lalit Modi like everyone wants to do. Sachin took the dollars, it's his fault or no one's.

Why is it IPL's fault? Everyone has free choice.
They should listen to the SL physio. If he says Mathews not fit for bowling (which was the case during last few weeks), that opinion has to be valued. If he gets injured in the middle of IPL, would be a big blow for SL in T20 WC. If he had regained his fitness there would be bo problem. It was not the case as Mathews only bowled less than 5 overs in whole provincial tournament of SL

Did he put such conditions when signing up for the big bucks?
If he gets injured the problem will be for both SL and KKR. Mathews will have his bucks, but the team he plays will be having a problem. So it should be a careful approach when asking AM to bowl. May be later in the series or a over here and there would be the way IMO.

The whole point is franchises should not be greedy about players. They should be handled carefully and should not be stretched to the limit if they are recovering from injury. Modi won't like to see AM getting injured in the next match and going home with all the bucks.
