Ive no real problem with the KP decision but it is a different game now. Not a chance that that would have been given 10 years ago when I was playing growing up around the game. Things change, thats ok. Just interesting

Pietersen has struggled against left arm spinners for years now, its not something new. He gets his front pad all the way forward and then ends up playing around it, especially the arm ball. Vettori caused him plenty of problems in 2007/08, so did Benn/Yuvraj.

You have to wonder whether Bangladesh would be better off just picking 5 spin bowlers and forgetting about their pace bowlers in these conditions. Unless Mortaza is playing, there is no point in a pace bowler in this attack and I fail to understand why Shakib bothers bowling them.

He's been giving them the odd over to break up the rhythm every now and then. No idea why he's given Rubel three overs in the power play though.

Shafiul's a decent new ball bowler FWIW, he's looked a lot more likely to get wickets in recent ODIs than Mortaza did in the run-up to his last injury.

this is really some shocking fielding. Have to say for a side like Bangladesh, you'd think they'd be able to make up for their lack in batting/bowling talent with some electric fielding (which is a skill that can be developed with rigorous practice) but this is just downright ridiculous.

At least with Zimbabwe/Ireland, the one thing you can usually count on is that they give it their all in the field. Bangladesh fielding standards are pretty much up there with their subcontinental neighbors - Pakistan and India.

Well it's safe to say that England have now succeeded in putting the game beyond us. Oh well, should have won the second one.

Lets just remember that England are playing with Plunkett and a debutant in Shahzad on what is a slow turning track. Given the quality of both teams on offer this may end up being fairly close especially if Tamim gets going.

Agreed, I just laid off all the money during the innings break I originally put when KP went out.

284 is a great score, but they have one spinner and an ordinary pace bowling unit. Anything could happen.

Bangs could be cleaned up for 120 odd, or get damn close.

Stand to win $140 if Eng win, or no loss if Bangladesh win. So now if Tamim goes crazy I won't mind :D

Usually are very handy in the field, definitely superior to Pakistan and India. Reckon when they make a mistake it just begins to snowball into more and more.

Harsh to put Pakistan and India in the same tier tbh.

It's like comparing Hitler and Nixon. Yes they were both ****ed, but one is way way way worse.

Not the best start from the Tigers. Shazad gets lucky with 3 wide balls all not getting punished and the last being cut down thirdmans throat.
