Are you not familiar with TH's views on Vincent?Reckon Vincent could actually see a ball at 150km/h in all honesty.
How many more ODIs are scheduled? Will know with more.Begs the question, have Australia been living in a fool's paradise this Summer?
We finally play a team with a bit of fight in them, and we're 0-1 down.
We weren't disgraced by any means, but I think today puts this Summer in its proper context.
Perhaps. It's still pretty much still the same side that won against India so I don't think we should be too worried yet.Begs the question, have Australia been living in a fool's paradise this Summer?

To be honest our standard of cricket was way down today on where it was last month. Perhaps it's a mixture of new conditions, complacency and newfound pressure.Begs the question, have Australia been living in a fool's paradise this Summer?

Do you include the Champions trophy and the tour of India in that. Its not like Aust were playing badly and then only played good at home against Pak and WI.Begs the question, have Australia been living in a fool's paradise this Summer?

Yeah, look, you can't win every game. No need for an inquest when you narrowly fail against a quality side like New Zealand. To be honest our standard of cricket was way down today on where it was last month. Perhaps it's a mixture of new conditions, complacency and newfound pressure.
actually at that stage, on the rope was considered a 4, not 6. the icc changed the rule pretty quickly after taht thoughI'll never forget Dion Nash playing a lap/scoop shot off Pollock back in 1998 when NZ needed 7 off 2 balls to win. I remember it landed on the painted line where the rope was supposed to be, but the rope itself was behind the line by a few inches so was given as 4 & not 6 & SA took a wicket off the last ball...was a cracking game 7th Match: New Zealand v South Africa at Brisbane, Jan 9, 1998 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com
Few others might recall the shot
i hate how everyone keeps on calling him samoan. Is Taylor New Zealand's first cricket captain of Samoan stock? Doing a good job so far, it must be said. Just to be clear this has nothing to do with his Samoan heritage. He has done well so far under difficult conditions and trying circumstances.
Edit/ 3 dot balls to White. Something has to give...
Edit 2/ Nope. Not yet at any rate.
I agree people should get the ethnicity right but you "hate how everyone keeps on calling him samoan" ? Why? Do you think being Samoan is somehow demeaning? Or do you think his being of white (mixed) stock makes you feel more akin to him? or what?i hate how everyone keeps on calling him samoan.
His Dad is white, of European descent, who incidently brought him up. Does that make him a European??
No more than it makes Obama white.i hate how everyone keeps on calling him samoan.

White is a colour though. Samoan is not.No more than it makes Obama white.
No. It is an ethnicity as defined by the census. The term Samoan is not being used to say he is a citizen of Samoa. It is being used to say he is ethnic Samoan. Exactly the same.White is a colour though. Samoan is not.
Better believe we'll be infringing copywright on Saturday too.Stole it from us as well
