Has been excellent, great job Marc.

Happy with Pietersen, provides a good attacking batting along with Ponting and Walters to go along with the stonewallers Lawry, Boycott and Barrington.

Really happy with this side overall, lacks a star allrounder but still has good balance I think with six excellent batsman of various styles, 3 all time great bowlers and Fraser a very decent third seamer, Walters can do a decent job as a part-timer as well.
1. Bill Lawry
2. Geoff Boycott
3. Ricky Ponting (c)
4. Ken Barrington
5. Kevin Pietersen
6. Doug Walters
7. Jeff Dujon (wk)
8. Alan Davidson
9. Bill O'Reilly
10. Curtly Ambrose
11. Angus Fraser

Can't complain about receiving David Hookes given my limited budget I had allowed for the final round, even if his test record is somewhat inferior to some of the stars my team possesses.

Barry Richards
K.S.Ranjitsinhji
Allan Border
Sir Garfield Sobers
David Hookes

My final team, getting Headley in the final round makes it a little more impressive, very happy with my team in general but maybe would have liked one more world class bowler, getting Kapil when I did was a bit of a mistake cause I thought I could play him at 7 but the draft didn't really allow for it.

11 C McDermott (78 Tests, 940 runs @ 12.20) (291 wickets @ 28.63)

What I like about my team?

- Contains your classic bowling lineup. Three pace bowlers, a spin bowler and a host of decent part-timers.
- Top 6 all average over 45
- Leadership. Take a pick as to who can captain this team, some of the finest leaders of all time.
- Decent tail. Lillee, Bond and McDermott are all capable hitters.
- With the exception of Bond, contains arguably 10 of the top 100 Test cricketers to ever play the game.

What I dislike about my team?

- Injury has the possibility to cause trouble with my pace attack. Lillee, Bond and McDermott are not three bowlers you would back to survive bowling all day on a flat deck.
- Three opening batsman. Had to demote Simpson to number 3.
- Benaud is a step below the truly great spin bowlers of all time.
- Are my four part-timers guaranteed to take a wicket? Relying on them without a true all-rounder.

2. Stewie Dempster (723 runs @ 65.72)
3. Wally Hammond (7249 runs @ 58.45, 83 wickets @ 37.80)
4. Graeme Pollock (2256 runs @ 60.97)
5. Greg Chappell (C) (7110 runs @ 53.86)
6. Eddie Paynter (1540 runs @ 59.23)
7. Jack Russell + (1897 runs @ 27.10, 153 catches, 12 stumpings)
8. Harold Larwood (78 wickets @ 28.35)
9. Wes Hall (192 wickets @ 26.38)
10. Tony Lock (174 wickets @ 25.58)
11. Muthiah Muralitharan (792 wickets @ 22.71)

Very happy with the team on the whole. Getting Paynter (my nomination) in the last round has further strengthened my batting as he's one of those with a good amount of experience batting with the lower order as those of us who follow the game already know. My top 6 all have an average of 50+ and the Murali, Lock and Sehwag spin combination is a very capable one I'd say. Probably lacking a top drawer allrounder so Hammond and Sehwag will have to bowl a bit to support my front liners.

11.Sydney Barnes (242 runs @ 8.06, 189 wickets @ 16.43)

Will do a full write up another time. Just a few notes.
3 members of the 10000 club. That's awesome no matter how you look at it.
Dravid bats at 6 so as to let the rest of the middle order bat in their preferred positions. Averages over 60 there anyway.
Reasonably deep batting with Lindwall at 8
Waugh provides a useful 5th bowling option but will be largely unneeded.
I love my bowling attack so much:)
