Not Terrible
Not to sure if I agree with that, he's a very very average batsman.Shahadat can make uo for all his sh1t bowling by staying in the crease, he has that much ability to stay for over an Hour

At home Shakib and Mahmudallah bowl grenades as well. Seamers are still crap though.Wonder if 5-1 a drawn series for England over in Bangladesh is worth a look - there's no doubt the Bangladeshi's are improving and it only takes the odd session to go their way and they'll get a win against a full-strength opposition on the board.

Shakib! <3Shakib <3
I hope he gets a hundred and then Bangladesh collapse.
wow patel has been magnificent this innings. his arm ball to get rid of kayes was probably the best ball of the match.and kayes is pretty much their best batter in the top order. and then just when mammuma was getting in with shakib, patel completely decieved mammahammlah in flight to pick up the wicket to turn the game again. great spell and another day he might have picked up 6-7.
Very very disappointing after it looking so strong in Dunedin but has gradually fallen apart. Jeetan compared to his Napier test vs. India last year looked terrible. The search for the doosra has evidently failed and he no longer appears to trust his ability to flight the ball. Considering how well his domestic season started and how expensive he then was in the limited overs stuff I wonder if he lost confidence due to getting belted. Still will always be an option in the sub-continent but I think he may have bowled his last hurrah in NZ. Spinning wickets won't win us matches vs. Australia despite it being their biggest wickets. And so did Jeetan Patel's career come to a miserable end. Huge problems when our bowling attack is looking the weakest of our departments. Southee's not ready, Tuffee's not penetrative, and Martin's worryingly close to being over the hill. McKay is no saviour, and as strong as Arnel's performances have been in recent years, I have a bad feeling that he's not suited to international cricket. Unless someone can hypnotise Iain O'Brien into forgetting that he has a wife, it is going to be a miserable march against the aussies.
Well done to Bangladesh though. I must confess I was unconvinced about Shakib before this tour began, but in this match he has been very good.
I don't always agree with your posts, but this one is bang on the money in every respect. In fact saved me the bother or posting something similar about out test bowling resources (or lack of them). And so did Jeetan Patel's career come to a miserable end. Absolutely, but that part is easier said than done.Bangladesh are slowly coming right. They have some good young players in the side and I can see them winning a test match in the next year or so if they get rid of the brain explosions they have while batting.
