I joined up. I wonder how long I have to stay a member before I get a payout?

I find it funny how some people (granted they're usually writing the rubbish that comes at the bottom of the online news stories) blow up at the women/understand the stress Tiger's under that made him do it etc etc.

Tiger put his dick in too many women when he was married. He's embarrassed and he should be. He wouldn't have stopped doing it if he didn't get caught, so the line about how he wants to be a better person doesn't mean much right now. Same goes for anyone caught in this position. At least some of the women slept with him because of who he is, probably all of them, but he's the one with the money and the talent. He should've been smarter than he was.

Found it slightly amusing that one of the women went on about how good looking he was too. Now I love Tiger as a golfer and would love to see him win as many majors as possible, but I think this is proof that a large amount of money and some success makes you infinitely better looking to the opposite ***.

Finally, would I do what Tiger did if I was a sportsman admired the world over and had gorgeous women throwing themselves at me? As a total unknown who'd be happy with someone as gorgeous as his wife I'd say no, but if I was in that position then maybe

In hindsight, it's no wonder Woods kept a discreet profile away from the public eye.

His behaviour is pretty reprehensible, IMO, but the vice of money and fame is undeniable.

These days the temptation makes anybody susceptible, especially the wealthy and influential.

Anyway, hopefully Tigger will be back for the first major, I'm finding this story beyond tedious. Who gives a **** who he's been ****ing.

Anyway the European Tour is looking very good this year. Poulter finally looks like he's living up to some of his hype. Kaymer will hopefully put his health worries behind him and show that he's a major winner, IMHO. McIlroy still looks the future of golf and along with Quiros (who seems to have sorted some technical difficulties which held him back last year) has masses of charisma which is good if they can match it with the game. All in contention for the Abu Dhabi going on now, which is looking a top finish.

I'm not sure exactly, but I don't think his wife's overly impressed.

A friend of mine went to college in America for golf and then worked in golf admin for years there before coming home. She said it was no great surprise that Tiger wasn't a great person as she'd seen him behave pretty poorly towards certain people.

I guess it's just always interesting when someone turns out to not be the person he/she was made out to be. If it was Dennis Rodman then everyone would just laugh and get on with it.

Yeah perhaps I should say, I don't care. Years ago I realised many of my sporting faves were ****s. I've ceased to care. After all my sporting heroes growing up included Nick Faldo and Alex Higgins.....

God I hated Faldo. Years ago when the Palm Meadows Cup was on the Gold Coast we voluteered from my club as local junior golfers to hold the quiet signs around the greens. I still remember thinking what a **** he was when one of the young guys asked him for an autograph and while he was trying to get his pen out Faldo's gone, "Come on, hurry up!", all the while looking like someone had done a **** in his handbag.

well so much for mickelson making up for tiger's absence week-in week-out...stricker looks like he will supplant him at no:2...and westwood had so many chances to win dubai, well done to jimenez, couple of clutch putts there at the end...:)

Yeah, Stricker really coming good at a late age. Good for him.

Another thrilling week on the Euro Tour. Jimenez incredibly lucky, but fair play to him. Lee really not a closer of tournaments, but he's in great form since he's slimmed down. Quiros very exciting, until he three-putted three-in-a-row. Hit a long par five with a three-wood and an 8 Iron, before the first of those threes. Still he's the new Seve for me, exhilirating to watch. Kaymer and McIlroy up there again too. Really augurs well for the season and the future, I think.

Oh and Jaidees tiddler on the last could of cost me 300 quid, different year, same ****.:@

yeah quiros, mcilroy and kaymer look in great form, so does westwood, harrington on the other hand missed the cut at riviera...mcilroy and kaymer in particular look like they are ready to win a major this year...

Oh, Padraig only plays for Majors nowadays, so not too worried about that. Kaymer was really affected by that stupid go-kart crash he got into the other year, hopefully he's fully recovered now.

tw to break silence on friday...the only thing i am interested in hearing is when he is coming back...:)

Well he was never going to come back for this tournament with Accenture dropping him. Would of got them masses of publicity for this tourney if he'd come back for this. This press conference will no doubt get more publicity then the event.ho-hum.....

yes...actually the idea of announcing it today and the press conference on friday has already stolen a lot of thunder from an event already weakened considerably by the absence of its two premier players and knowing how tiger operates, it was probably a calculated move:laugh:...and stricker going out today will weaken the event further...i am happy that jeev milkha singh won big today over harrington...:)

alex micelli, the golf channel statistician and analyst is an unmitigated prick(the way he was railing about tiger's crimes towards his family, you could be forgiven for thinking the guy is elin's dad or something, what conservative hypocritical bastards some of these old-timers are), he should go to nbc and team up with kindred prick/spirit johnny miller, they can go at their tiger-bashing with gay abandon during the nbc telecasts...

Sky News reporting that 800 media accreditations were issued by the tourney organisers but only 7 were used once it was found Tiger wasnt turning up

Maybe this was just a ploy to renegotiate his endorsement contracts

Oh, he just got himself stupidly involved in a ruling with Poulter, whining on, didn't do him much good though:laugh:
yeah he was just crushed...i watched part of that match, didn't see any altercation or anything like that while i was watching...so you got your all-english finale...:), as well as casey has been playing, poulter is the fav for me...

Altercation happened early in the round, Garcia just acting like a petulant brat as per normal.

Yeah Poulter should win it easy after Casey's marathon match against Villegas. Going to have to change my mind about Poults, over the last couple of seasons he's starting to show a consistency and temperament which is impressive. Living up to the hype at last, he's no longer all mouth and flash trousers.

Still doesn't win quite enough, but maybe this will be the start of that.
