Amla is so so much better than he was in 2006, it's incredible. I mean I know he's been awesome for a while now, but just watching his technique and his composure, his time away from the team did him so much good.

Think being involved in the ODI side has helped. Now can score all around the wicket and has a go to shot against the spinners with the sweep. He was up until 18 months ago just an onside batsman.

I jinxed him. I can't see S.Africa holding on a whole day, even if India were to lose today to bad light and weather.

Cricinfo says the covers are off, assuming the light is the same as yesterday, they may get an hour or so in before it gets too dark.

Why don't they swithc on the floodlights?

The ICC rules are stupid arse. The top management at the ICC has been of no use for decades now.
