Vijay really worked over there

He's a "nice" looking player but shouldnt be batting at no.3 at this stage of his career IMO

Imp stage for Ind with the master and the blaster at the crease .... Ind looks so charged up. That's what the fans want!

Agree wholeheartedly, but I guess they did it in the first test because Dravid and VVS were out, and he has looked good opening before.

But with VVS in the team, it didn't make much sense.

The only thing that I can think of is they don't want Vijay and Badrinath coming in one after the other. That's stupid IMO. And if that's such a big issue, bat Dhoni at 6.

I don't see Vijay playing long for India. A middle order batsman in Rohit Sharma or some one else will eventually replace him.

Haha, sorry mate, but that Australian series that I saw was so epically bad that the catching is going to be the butt of jokes for years to come.

Has Duminy just dropped the test, series and ranking?

Shocker

If he'd taken that, I'd put money on India getting less than 200. Now ......
Dunno, maybe. But dropping Sehwag is not usually a great idea when he is batting like this.

I dont really get why guys like Tendy and Kallis simply refuse to move from No. 4
Dunno if either have been asked.

I'd prefer Laxman at three though for India, if I could put anyone from India's side at three in the absence of Dravid. I'd want to keep Tendy a little more down for the spinners.

I keep on thinking Duminy is going to have a similar career to Michael Bevan..

This match is tailor-made for a huge innings by India's number 5!
