Dropping all bowlers except for Zaheer would be the way to go.
Wonder if any other team has ever had to consider dropping 3 of its 4 bowlers......
There's a strong case for Ishant and Mishra being dropped if they bowl like last match and Harbhajan should have been dropped a while ago imo.

I don't know if they are the best but if Ind lose this test, I would be tempted to say that (not that I would for sure but yeah that would be tempting) .... I thought we need to pick up 20 wkts here, should have shown more balls to play 5 bowlers esp considering how we rave about our batting and then we still feel the need to play an extra batsman in a must win game on a surface like that. Don't forget the Saha blunder in the last test .... Someone has to be accountable for the decisions they make .... Hopefully Ind will be able to pull this one off

I can't say I know how much say Kirsten and Dhoni have in selections, but either way, both have done a fine job for India. And as for the "best of the decade" comment, it was meant to be provocative.

You must realize that as an Indian fan, the emotions are high atm .... it's easy for a neutral like you to say all that but that combination looks stupid considering the scenario. It's not abt losing the series but going in with the right weapons, strategy and attitude. As I said hopefully they have done a good job, read the situation well ans Ind will pull it off otherwise it's tempting to ask for their resignation

I hate Sky sometimes, why do I have to watch yet another ODI instead of a test match?!? See no reason why they cannot have one Sky 1 and one on Sky 2 or whatever instead of this stupid red button which you can't get on Sky Player.

Yeah one series lost and lets ask for some heads.

Even i'm disappointed by conservative approach of playing 4 bowlers only but lets not go overboard here.

You really think I can't identify with stupid selections ruining the chances of the team I support? But you have to keep perspective.

As I said I could be 'tempted' to do that. If that's going overboard for you then so be it. I don't need your approval, you can stay on board :)

the seamers are bowling well but we are already in their 8th over and they appear to be losing their steam. Now one of them would have to be replaced but we don't have a 3rd seamer so will Bhajji do the 3rd seamer's duty by throwing darts. I guess, will have spin as early as the 12th over 8-)

Shastri is such as a moron, his rationale for playing a third bowler is that "Dhoni has been losing the toss and thus has to plan for batting on first day more often than not...."
