Christ, Watto is a legend. Just how consistently good can you be with bat and ball across so many forms of the game?

Another flat track bully like Bollinger imo, lets see if this form continues against the top sides, again i'll say i very much doubt it will.

Until we have a settled side who are capable of putting up a decent fight it probably doesn't matter who's captain, but to answer the question i'd give it to Dwayne Bravo because whether it's with the bat or bowling more often than not he turns up to the party, which is what they call leading by example.
But Bravo is underperforming with the bat, so he's not exactly leading by example there....

As for the 4-1 prediction, that was just another of Gayle's deadpan jokes!

I can't wait to see the contracts Cricket Australia give out soon.

Shane Watson really should be the highest paid player. I mean he's playing all 3 forms of the game and in ODIs especially he is the most important player in the team by far.
They mentioned on the radio that Watson is rapidly becoming a right-handed Hayden at the top of the order, in that he plays similar types of shots. Not far off the money imo.

Haha what? Check out Bollinger's and Watson's records on the subcontinent in the various forms they've played, then give us a call back.

Has Bollinger got 5 wickets hauls against England, South Africa or India? you give me a "call back" with the answer please!!

Furthermore Watson had never even got a 100 until he played Pakistan the other day too!!, that's why i said he's a flat track bully, lol at the Aussies getting emotional!!.

Rough but true. But what i'll ask you is even though Bollinger & Watson may have had average teams to deal with this summer. Based on just watching them play (regardless of the quality of the opposition). Dont you think they have displayed the skills to potentially continue their form againts better teams?.

Quality trolling
How the hell is it "trolling" if i'm just stating an opinion? 8-) my view is they haven't hit the hights they are hitting right now against the top sides in the world, SUE ME!!, it's well known Watson was struggling for form before and Bollinger played South Africa last year and certainly wasn't that the best of the bunch.

Oh yeah without a doubt!

Honestly you look at the impact Watson has on the game compared with someone like his opening partner Marsh and Watson is basically without being unkind to Marsh 2 to 2.5 times the value of him.

Can we just shake hands and send the West Indies home? Worst summer of cricket, and it is just getting more horrid.

I love watching the likes of Watson, Bollinger, Harris and McKay tear it up, but sometimes you just want an exciting contest.

Windies doing poorly, so you find any excuse to try and belittle Australian players, whether it be calling them flat track bullies or trying to find something wrong with the way they're celebrating. The you repeat it in bold to further the reaction from members on the site. ie trolling.

Firstly it's good to have a respectful reply to deal with instead of the frivolous "troll" remarks, anyway no doubt they've done well this summer, but until they prove it against the top sides i can't give them too much credit, i mean look at the shambles they've faced today? that WI side is pitiful, and so were Pakistan, the real tests will come when Watson has Steyn flying at him, or Swann and Singh trying to fool him, and when Bollinger has to face an in form Tendulker or a set Kallis, that's when you see if a player is top notch or not imo, i know people will disagree but that's just my opinion.

Yes i'm pissed off about the Windies that's obvious but i would have said the same thing about Bollinger and Watson even if we'd won the game, "trolling" is saying something very stupid and looking for a reaction but what i've said it actully true even if you don't like it.

Fair enough if you want wait until they actually do well againts top teams. Nothing wrong with that. I'll just say i'm confident they will step up when the time comes.

On the troll remarks, overtime you see on this site that some posters are just ridiculous.
