*Official* South Africa in India

In 02 he scored 1 century against Zimbabwe and 2 against WIndies. So, equal?

Moving on. I think India just lost their lifeline. The defeat will be heavy. Haven't read any news re the injured players but will they make the 2nd Test?

Yeah, IIRC Slater was going on about it on TV this summer also. I think the reason it doesn't suit him is because he doesn't seem to be the type to put personal accolades ahead of team achievements - but you just know it's in the back of his mind.
I meant since 2003. :p

What about the umpteen against WI and ZIm prior to that?

Paul Harris mentioned people thought he was a rubbish bowler. If he can't figure out from the line he's been bowling today why that is, well...

Parnell bowling well here the pace attack is really class.

SA just one world class spinner away from being the 3rd best side for the past 30 years.
having said that Harris is a good foil for this current pace attack, keeps the runs down and pick up crucial scalps just at the right time.

TURB!

Come back permanently man.
Jonoooooooooooooo!! :)

Dude, tbh, I'd love to. But my schedule and the things going on, just don't permit it. I try and drop in and have a look around as often as I can. I haven't even been able to follow cricket properly as I used to. :(

Seriously, why I bother reading your nonsense anymore is beyond me.
I have to say that the same thought, if not expressed in the same way, has been crossing my mind recently. Marked deterioration in Aussie's posts in the recent past - some of them are dead set incomprehensible for mine.

Dhoni gone and its only a matter of time, now. Harris, another unheralded spinner, going alright in India.

Because, you dope, when you're in transit, you have time to plan and prepare.
And if you plan ahead that you are going to pick certain players to replace retired veterans in a transition phase. Is it 100% guaranteed that those players will perform?.

When you get 3 injured in one go, you're left with little time to overcome the surprise and replace 30% of your team.
Has i said before, although the injuries where indeed sudden. At the same time it is good chance for the reserves to step up. A key facet in being # 1 is your bench strenght, not just your first XI.

Seriously, why I bother reading your nonsense anymore is beyond me.
I'd back my opinions on cricket over anyone who defends a bastmen who failed consistently after being technically exposed for an entire year, by saying those failures where down the batsman brain cells working working right. So STFU

Even if do get a WC spinner (which if one is realistic if you check around SA domestic cricket ATM i dont believe their is signs of any). This team is still below the SA team of the 90s overall TBF.

Its not that you dont want to get down to my level, but rather you can't. Since the level of logical cricket debates is a realm you are not suited for. You engage me in cricket discussion, you will always come out second best.

Like if i care if i'm on your ignore list, cry baby

It's not that much different. Everyone is just like "WTF aussie" and you end up clicking view post to see what they're getting so angry about anyway.

So, we have Steyn, we a new ball and we have the Indian tale. I can see Paul Collingwood surviving a Dale Steyn new ball spell, but not these two!

Is it wrong for me to want South Africa to finish us off today so to not have to deal with tomorrow?

and also to have the money in my account now rather than tomorrow ^_^
