Interesting round of Shield matches this one.

Curious to see if Krejza will have to go all the way to the mainland to collect his dummy after another epic spit.
Link? Haven't seen anything in the media myself.

Bailey said Krejza's spinning replacement, Xavier Doherty, was a team player at the height of his form. ''He's a very popular member of the team and just that ability to always do whatever the team requires is something that will hold him in good stead,'' Bailey said.
Ouch for Krejza

''He's got to work hard on his batting - he's averaging five with the bat - and he needs to do more work on his bowling,''

"Yeah, Jason, this whole cricket thing, ummm, it'd help a lot if you could, ummm, be better at it."

Griffith has 5 on return against QLD now.

BTW, re: WA's team, is anyone else annoyed by their batsman failing to dominate. Are some of the bats slightly overrated, because I look at Robinson, Voges, North, Pomersbach, Marsh, Marsh and Ronchi and think some of them should be averaging 50 or very close in domestic cricket.

PS - I like Hogan, reckon he'll be danger to South Australia this innings.

Yep, I reckon the whole scenario says as much about Krejza's character than it does Doherty's ability...

Reckon Christian is just too good for them...

Anyway, North's spot in the Aussie side looks in big trouble unless he makes a valuable century soon IMO.

Pretty good day for the redbacks, first innings points :).

Klinger and Smith with good knocks, Klinger continuing his great form could to see Smith score a gritty knock aswell, scored on the slower side though but I guess batting isn't easy on the WACA pitch agaisnt WA's pace bowling attack, Cooper and Borgas got starts..didn't go on.

O'Brien and Christian are batting well here..will need to score at quickish pace tommorow which they are capable of,, hopefully we can get an 150/200ish run lead and then declare..if we don't get bowled out.

These two need to put on 100+. Ludeman aside, that's the longest tail I've seen in an SA team since the days of McIntyre/George/Harrity.

Good returns from Cutting, but sad to see how much QLD are behind at the moment. Our batsmen need to put in a show.

Yep again the WA batting lineup has done bad 6/115 - Christian 3/14 at the moment following on from his 71.

Bailey making 100 = :)

Saw the first few hours of WA's innings this arvo (just before Marsh got out). George bowled very well. Reckon he had Davis caught behind on two judging by the noise, but alas not out. Robinson looked very good, whilst North was out in a typical pad covering all three stumps.

Putland looked pretty ordinary, IMO.

Everyone that watches George bowl says something similar. Tends to be the most impressive bowler on display. Kid is going to be a star someday, wouldn't harm his chances to learn how to hold a cricket bat though.

Yeah its good to hear he bowled well in the 2nd innings, bit dissapointed he only got 1 wicket for the game.

Bloody carnage from the redbacks though :), very pleased. Christian with a good knock with the bat and then backs it up with another haul of wickets in the 2nd innings taking 5/24...he owned Ronchi again..liked the 3rd time he has got him with a yorker first ball..what a gun..Julian to be pleased. Haberfield seems to be bowling well lately to..capable of bowling a real jaffa.

Should chase the runs down easily tommorow, Smith out for a duck though :(. Hogans having a good match, the batting needs to be more consistent IMO. But I'm a happy chap.
